On the 20th anniversary of her husband's death, Maureen Faulkner endowed two young people with educational grants. Charles Ritterson and Dana Dutch each received grants for $5,000 towards their education. The Daniel Faulkner Educational Grant Fund was established in May of 2000 to provide financial assistance to students whose parents have been murdered or incapacitated by a violent crime. Both Dutch and Ritterson lost parents in a robbery last year.
